Dave McAlister

Dave McAlister provides more than 25 years of experience in the AV industry. His ambition to achieve the highest level of excellence in AV business management has always been his primary goal. Dave brings valuable insight and knowledge to each project, and each of his projects reflect his innovative leadership and creative management style.
Beginning his career in the Audio/Visual equipment rental and production services business, Dave developed an interest in the video, sound, and lighting aspects of the multimedia industry. Demonstrating initiative from the start, Dave gained experience with the technical set-up and operations of professional broadcast equipment, assisted in account management, generated bids, managed rental inventory, supervised projects, and established customer relationships.
Leveraging an ever-expanding portfolio of qualifications covering operations, production management, and customer relations, Dave demonstrated time and again his flexibility in responding to the changing client needs in the effort to meet their goals and expectations. Tasked with satisfying the customer with superior service, he repeatedly proved his ability to deliver strong and sustained results.
After five years of dedicated service, Dave continued his career in production management working for a large church developing skills in post-production, team leadership, technical design and installation, and Television Broadcast. At the same time he gained experience in non-linear video editing, becoming certified with Apple’s Final Cut Pro. Dave has also produced award winning short films for national film competitions.
In 2003 Dave Incorporated and started an AV company called Ceva Media Group. The company started as a side business offering AV production management for Live events and video production. In 2007 Dave went full-time with the corporation and launched another division called McAlister Photography offering professional photography service. In 2012 he launched another division called Ceva Productions. This new division over the last 8 years has grown substantially. Ceva Productions is now the main focus of the corporation.
Throughout his career, Dave has been able to establish strong and lasting relationships with his customers. The scope of his experience has spanned many aspects of business management and the AV industry.
